  • What Are The Qualifications For Assisted Living?

Admission eligibility for Assisted Living is based on the individual care requirements of the potential resident. Generally, Assisted Living is considered appropriate for individuals who need:

    • Minimal Skilled Nursing services
    • Rehabilitation services
    • Daily assistance with everyday tasks — eating, bathing, etc.
    • Medication management

Assisted Living is not ideal for people who need:

    • Continuous supervision
    • Extensive medical care
  • What services and amenities are offered for Assisted Living?

    Services and amenities:

    • Personal care: Assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
    • Medication management: Help with reminding or administering medication as by healthcare professionals
    • Meals: Our experienced culinary team provides nutritious meals and snacks according to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
    • Housekeeping: Regular cleaning and maintenance of living spaces and common areas
    • Laundry: Assistance with personal laundry
    • Transportation: Access to scheduled transportation for medical appointments, shopping trips, social outings, etc.
    • Social activities: Organized events, gatherings, hobbies, and exercise classes to help promote and empower our seniors to age safely and successfully – in mind, body and spirit.
    • Life enrichment activities: Access to educational and recreational programs that promote individual interests
    • 24-hour staff and emergency response: Trained staff available around the clock to ensure safety and respond in case of emergencies

  • What is the difference between All-inclusive and traditional Assisted Living?

When searching for the right Assisted living program, make sure to ask important questions about added fees for transportation, medication management, or level of care. At Ascension Living we offer an All-Inclusive Assisted Living Program, which means there are no hidden costs. As your loved one’s care needs change, their cost of living will not.

  • Can I bring my own personal items and furnishings?
Yes! We encourage residents to bring personal items and furniture to ensure they make their new home feel as comfortable as possible.
  • What happens if my own or loved ones' health needs change?
Depending on how much a resident's health changes, it may  not be necessary to move. Maybe you receive physical therapy, home health, or hospice in your current assisted living residence. If you leave for post-surgical rehabilitation, you may  also return to your residence.
