FAQ During Temporary Visitor Restriction

Tips for virtual visitation during COVID-19. We understand during this time it is important to stay connected to your loved ones and remain aware of their status. We encourage communication through the use of personal devices. Consider one of the following apps to connect virtually with your loved ones. You can download them in either the App Store (iPhone) or the Play Store (Android): Facebook Messenger, Facetime (iPhones only), Google Hangouts and many other apps.

Empowering successful aging

The safety and well-being of our residents, associates and visitors is our priority. During this period of heightened awareness and social distancing, we are taking additional precautions and are limiting visitors. Following CDC, CMS and local public health guidance, all Ascension Living communities are restricting all visitors and non-essential health care personnel. In our skilled nursing facilities, according to CMS visitors are only permitted for certain compassionate care situations, such as an end-of-life situation. In those special circumstances, only one visitor is permitted per resident at a time. All approved visitors will be screened and are required to follow good hand hygiene and wear a mask. Please call our communities before visiting for individual community and state public health guidelines.
